Abstract

The study was conducted to evaluate the ability to hydrolyze protein from freshwater fish by-products, saltwater fish, earthworms and snails to obtain protein solution based on the effects of the probiotic product Emzeo, fish incubation yeast and enzyme protease. The content focuses on researching the hydrolysis ability of microbial products with and without combined protease enzymes on hydrolyzed raw materials such as freshwater fish, marine fish, earthworms and snails. Experimental results showed that under normal incubation conditions, the hydrolysis time of treatments without added enzyme (36.08 - 36.33 days) and treatments with added protease enzyme (36.5 – 37.0 days) had no difference, so adding protease enzyme had no effect in shortening the incubation time. The results also showed that the efficiency of protein hydrolysis from freshwater fish by-products (dead catfish) and marine fish (dead scad) was the best without any difference, the percentage of hydrolyzate was the highest in the range 84.75 - 87.15%, total dissolved solids were highest in the range 19.315 - 19.607 mg/l, total protein content was highest 0.748 - 0.710%. However, when examining the effectiveness of the hydrolyzate on choysum plants, the hydrolyzate of the freshwater fish treatment had the best effect and had a significant difference compared to the remaining treatments in terms of the highest plant height 20.29 cm the best leaf length 18.80 cm and the highest fresh plant weight 24.65 g/tree. The analysis results also show that among the types of microbial products used, the percentage of hydrolyzate (85.07 – 86.66%), total protein content (0.501 - 0.508 g/ml), total solids dissolution was the highest (14.503 - 15.797%) with no statistical difference. However, when conducting a survey on the effectiveness of hydrolysis solution on choysum plants, it also showed that the hydrolysis solution using fish yeast preparation gave the best results for plant height (20.33 cm), leaf length (17.79 cm), the fresh weight of the plant (19.97 g/plant) was the highest and different from the remaining treatments.
