ASSESSMENT OF FLUCTUATIONS AND ANALYSIS OF FACTORS AFFECTING AGRICULTURAL LAND USE UNDER THE URBANIZATION PROCESS IN NGHI XUAN DISTRICT, HA TINH PROVINCE

Abstract

Urbanization is closely linked to the process of socio - economic development, land use structure and conversion of land use purposes to different purposes in Nghi Xuan district. In the recent period, the district has focused on economic development according to regions (Eastern coastal economic region, Central economic region, Southern economic region). The research results analyzed a number of factors affecting agricultural land use under the impact of urbanization in Nghi Xuan district through a survey of 120 agricultural land - using households, including: Natural factors (58.88% of farmers said that saline intrusion affects, greatly affects agricultural production by slowing down the cultivation time and some households cannot even cultivate during the rainy and flood season); economic factors (73.53% of opinions said that production costs had increased in all types of agricultural land use); social factors (with 75.19% of opinions assessing the lack of high - quality agricultural labor). Some solutions to improve the efficiency of agricultural land use under the impact of urbanization in Nghi Xuan district in the coming time: Support costs for applying science and technology to agricultural production; perfecting policies and mechanisms in agriculture.
