Abstract

The study aimed to find out the levels of interval watering in flower bud formation stage on the flowering of Citrus maxima on gray soil in Binh Duong province. An experiment on Citrus maxima orchard (8 years old) was arranged by Randomized Complete Block Design, 4 treatments (4 watering intervals levels of 10 days, 15 days, 20 days and 25 days as control), 5 replications, 1 tree per plot. The results showed that in flower bud formation stage the soil moisture and the number of flowers formed afterward are inversely correlated; watering interval 20 days in flower bud formation stage (in March) increased significantly the number of flowers formed afterward.
