Ochna variety “Mai vang Hue” (Ochna integerrima (Lour.) Merr.) is currently an ornamental plant of great interest, so propagation for developing this variety is a necessary requirement. In vitro micropropagation method will produce a large number of plantlets that are uniform in genetics and age. With the materials being stem segments of ochna variety “Mai vang Hue”, the rate of shoot generation reached 66.7%, the shoot generation time was 24.3 days, the average number of shoots produced was 3.1 shoots/explant. Sterilizing the explants with NADCC1% for 15 minutes and NaDCC 0.5% for 5 minutes gave the highest regeneration rate of 66.7%, and the low infection rate of 13.3%. Medium ½ MS+ 30 g/l sucrose + 6.8 g/l agar + 2 mg/l Activated charcoal + 1 mg/l IBA is suitable for in vitro rooting of ochna variety “Mai vang Hue”, with a rooting rate of 100%, rooting time of 37 days, number of roots/explant is 5.1 roots and the plantlet quality is good.
